Job Summary

The Flask Developer role designs, builds, and maintains scalable web applications and APIs using Python and the Flask framework. It contributes to product velocity by delivering robust, secure, and well-documented code, aligning with architectural standards and performance targets. Core responsibilities include implementing features, ensuring code quality through testing, and collaborating with front-end and backend teams to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and web services using Flask, Python, and related libraries.
• Write clean, testable code with unit and integration tests; maintain documentation and inline code comments.
• Participate in API design discussions, reviews, and performance optimization efforts.
• Implement authentication, authorization, input validation, and secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and QA to deliver feature complete releases on schedule.
• Monitor application performance, diagnose issues, and implement resolutive fixes in a timely manner.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience developing web applications with Python and Flask.
• Proficiency with Flask extensions (e.g., Flask-RESTful, Flask-SQLAlchemy) and SQL/ORM skills.
• Experience with REST API design, authentication mechanisms, and secure coding practices.
• Proficient in Git, code review processes, and CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with Docker.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to write tests, and solid debugging capabilities.
